Work Pass Information

Singapore is an orderly society closely governed by appropriate laws and regulations. It prides itself for its transparency and accountability in its administration and operations. A Work Pass (Employment Pass or Work Permit) is issued to a foreigner to allow him to work legally in Singapore. A valid work pass also allows the foreigner a legal stay while working here.

Employment Pass Information:
Foreign professionals, managers, executives, specialists or entrepreneurs who wish to work in Singapore should apply for an Employment Pass.

Work Permit Information:
Unskilled or semi-skilled foreign workers who wish to work in Singapore must apply for Work Permits in accordance with the Employment of Foreign Workers Act. Work Permits are generally issued according to industrial sectors such as the construction, non-construction and domestic sectors.
