The Occupational Safety and Health Division (OSHD) promotes
occupational safety and health at the national level, working in
collaboration with employers and employees to reduce and elimate
workplace hazards.

Visions
A safe and healthy work environment for everyone; Singapore as a
country renowed for best practices in Occupational Safety and Health.

Mission
To foster a safe and healthy environment through training, promotion
and enforcement and to facilitate fair and expeditious compensation for
work injury.

Registration and inspection of factories

Investigation of accidents

Inspection of pressure vessels and lifting equipment

Occupational Safety & Health Training Info and Competency Standards
The Occupational Safety and Health Training and Promotion Centre (OSHTC) is phasing-out its training function to the Accredited Training Providers (ATPs) and will no longer be scheduling training courses from Mar 06 onwards. Please contact the Accredited Training Providers (ATPs) listed in this site for all safety and health related courses.

The Quality Workplaces Department (QWPD) was set up to raise the
standard of workplaces in Singapore through promotion and education.
The main focus of the department for this year is the promotion of
Work-Life Strategy or Family Friendly Workplaces.
